Berlusconi hit in the face

Italian prime minister Berlusconi was hit in the face. It is interesting that, first he was addressing the crowd with explanation that he could not be a monster, because he is handsome. It seems interesting that some guy had enough and improved Berlusconi's handsomeness with nice punch in the face. According to the pictures after the incident - Berlusconi is not only ugly (so he must be a monster) but also quite terrified by the situation - so he is only ordinary guy with money that can buy him a new face and young sluts but no protection form angry crowd. I believe that tonight many of his political "friends" are laughing at him. Especially guy who has nice color on his face, German prime minister Merkel and some others as well. Life is fair after all - even in politics.

Idiotizem slovenske pravne ureditve

Državljana Slovenije kakršnokoli sodelovanje s policijo lahko samo tepe po glavi. Samo čakamo lahko ko nas bodo začeli obtoževati, da smo sami razbili svojo imovino in imitirali kaznivo dejanje, samo zato, da jih nadlegujemo z nepotrebnimi zadevami. Nekdo, ki poskuša pomagati državnim institucijam pri delu za katerega več kot očitno niso sposobne (drugače skala iz prispevka na povezavi na cesti nebi imela kaj iskati) bo moral plačevati precejšne stroške dologotajnega sojenja in po možnosti še plačati oziroma odsedeti kazen za nekaj na kar je preveč vestno opozoril OKC. Vse kaže, da Slovenija otrebuje namesto uradnega nadomestka FBI in obstoječe policije sistematično povezane državljane (kar je glede na naravo Slovencem bolj kot ne utopija), ki bodo mimo države znali poskrbeti za svojo rit. Ovadba iz povezanega prispevka gre brez težav v hišo slave najbolj bizarnih policijsko-sodnih navez na svetu, ki se primerjajo s tem, da pred trgovino privezan pes dobi kazen zaradi "nepravilnega parkiranja" (se je zgodilo nedavno v Avstraliji), ali pa za tipičen ameriški pristop kjer prepotentni in presrani policaji najprej šricajo s solzivcem, streljajo s štormom in naboji in šele nato sprašujejo kaj se je zgodilo (ker so ZDA v svoji tradiciji nesposobne omejiti pravico do posedovanja orožja). In mi za tako sranje plačujemo najvišje davke v Evropski uniji. Zakaj plačujemo najvišje davke v Evropski uniji: Zato, da prenašamo poskuse dodatnih obdavčevanj, zato da nas policija ovadi, kadar poskušamo pomagati, zato da nam zmanjšujejo socialne pravice, zato da nam pridgajo o demokraciji medtem, ko nam vcepljajo kaj naj si mislimo o zgodovini, da nam pridigajo o svobodnem gospodarstvu medtem ko nam ukinjajo posamezne ekonomske dobrine (npr. klasične žarnice), in omejujejo svobodno ekonomsko pobudo (saj smo v primeru, da ne živimo v kraju dela prisiljeni preživeti ogromen čas dneva v zastojih - zato ker se trije nesposobneži lotevajo merjenja hitrosti in se na mestu, kjer je dovoljena vožnja 90 km/h zmanjša na 40-50 km/h. In tako sranje plačamo iz lastnih žepov.

Satan is visiting Slovenia for second time - he will eat Slovenian national food and I just hope that he will choke with it. In fact I am surprised and also not surprised, how country that proclaims itself as democratic (Slovenia in this case) is willing and happy to host G.W. Bush who is personalized evil, symbol of corruption and misleading his own nation by false reports justifying numbers of dead American and other solders as well as many more dead civilians. It is not democratic, it is not human and it is against international law - but it certainly serves interests of American political and Economic elite - not to ordinary American citizens. (They are facing misery and danger in just the same extend as usually).
I hope that Air Force one will fall down In the middle of Atlantic ocean and the God will finally show at least some sympathy (It is bad to wish someone death - but he wants many dead people and I wish it only to him). Let my dead prayer will be fulfilled only this time just to provide possibility to save others from dying. It is romantic illusion but it will certainly make much more people happy than hanging of Saddam Husein.
Today I am ashamed that I belong to the nation that is accepting unjust world killer by open hands - despite it is clear indication of Janša's government connection to the corruption, injustice and ass-kissing to those who can teach them how to enslave own nation and others.
After years I will go back to church and pay for holy service small wish of mine will be accepted by Creator.

Those who will be reading these words, spread the news that in USA about 1% of people is imprisoned (More than in China or Iran, states that are called undemocratic by Bush). That in USA about 40% of citizens live under poverty threshold. Every non-USA citizen that enters USA for the first time is automatically marked as criminal (in democratic states nobody needs to expose fingerprints just for entering the state). No other state shuts down web page of somebody living in other country just for offering business to citizens. No other state is pressuring on other countries to accept its military equipment in order to spy under the mask of assuring its own national security.

Despite every politician makes mistakes sometimes, there is no other person showing so much arrogance and is not able to use own native language as G.W.Bush - his own citizens should assassinate him and their education and IQ level would increase dramatically.

Silence of Europe hurts - they just shut up (it seems that some people got a lot of money from American administration - what was about CIA kidnapping people in Europe and transferring them to other states in order that they could torture them ??

So I just hope that someone will send the Satan GWB to where he belongs - together with Slovenian host.

Tovariš Tito

V času janševističnega liberalizma, ki prej spominja na nekatere druge pretekle poltične sisteme kot na resno obliko demokracije danes z veseljem obujam spomin na neke druge čase, ki sem jih poznal dovolj od blizu, da so mi všeč in dovolj od daleč, da vse takratne probleme gledam iz varne razdalje. Bolj kot Sloveniji požira kapitalistična logika prikrita s trhlo lipovo masko demokracije, bolj ko mi govorijo o slabi preteklosti, da nebi bil pozoren na še večje slabo v sedanjosti bolj se zavedam pomena njegovih besed, ki so sicer polne političnega in državljanskega zanosa, dejansko pa spodbujajo temelj demokracije - kritičnost državljanov. Ko nam sistematično sistem izobraževanja rušijo ter nižajo kriterije znanja, kulturo predstavljajo mehiške nadaljevanke in igrani resničnostni šovi, bolj sem vesel, da sem imel privilegij spoznavati svet pod okriljem Njegovih besed, ki niso besede ultimativne resnice pač pa pot ne samo za razvoj države, družbe in vsakega posameznika temveč za razvoj človeštva v celoti. Razredni boj ni končan je pa res, da vladajoči razred sistemom premišljenih poneumljajočih reform poskuša razorožiti ljudstvo. Ljudstvo, ki je zgolj ljudstvo in nima potenciala, je kot trop ovac k gre na podlagi laježa in ugrizov Nemških ovčarjev (tistih na štirih in tistih na dveh nogah). Ko pa ljudstvo ima na voljo znanje takrat je pa oblast tista, ki se bo bala ljudstva in bo predstavljala ljudstvo in bo ljudska oblast - pa ne v smislu socializma temveč v smislu prave demokracije. In v tem pogledu je mogoče razlagati Njegove besede kot besede demokrata. Zato ljudje, "učite se, učite in še enkrat učite, kajti le kdor se bo učil bo kaj znal in le kdor bo kaj znal bo lahko koristil domovini". Pa ne samo domovini pač pa tudi prebivalcem te domovine, in nenazadnje tudi sebi. In ravno tega se kapitalizem boji - izobraženih ljudi, ki so sposobni razmišljanja z lastno glavo, ki ne priznavajo avtoritete, in kjer je potrebno spoštovanje zaslužiti ne pa ga prejemati samo zavoljo titule - predsednik vlade.

Nimam pravice nagovarjati s tovariši in tovarišicami, pa vendar - dvignimo svoje glasove in zahtevajmo odgovornost za najvišjo inflacijo v Evroobmočju - ki po enem letu še ne upada
za kazni, ki za minorne prekrške zahtevajo zneske višje od slovenske povprečne neto plače, za nesposobnost oblasti, da na lastnem ozemlju izvaja dejanja lastne suverenosti,... (Saj lahko sanjam ane...). To so trenutki, ko vidim, da slovenska država zgolj povečuje nadzor nad lastnimi državljani, za njihovo blaginjio in dobrobit se ji pa gladko je.e. Zakaj za vraga ni upora proti dejstvu, da slovenska policija ni sposobna prijeti človeka, ki je baje ubil dvajsetletnika, takoj pa najdejo nekoga, ki je po pomoti udaril sina notranjega ministra (tist udarec bi moral namreč leteti na ustrezno mesto njegovega očeta).

Danes po 28 letih sem vesel, da sem dobil izobrazbo v šoli, kjer sem za neznanje dobil ustrezno oceno in zahtevo, da se naučim ne pa da mi gospa učiteljica reče, da sem v pretežni meri dojel osnove snovi.

Problem in police

Here we go. I wrote quite a lot of critical articles on this blog and in different comments all over the internet on police - especially Slovene police (that most connected to me - next to different airport security systems). And I mostly had no positive to say about Slovenian police. After seven years, on Slovenian commercial television they published evidence of how fresh officers are able to behave themselves. I hope video won't be removed. And I am strongly concerned about this problem - it seems that somebody should protect me form at least generation 2001. And this should be like normal and democratic state - good to know this.

How little soldier became general - Slovenian EU presidency

Here we go. Slovenia as first member state from EU 2004 enlargement gained presidency over EU. In first 12 days we succeeded to make bunch of idiotic performances of our capability. First prime minister succeeded to insult his Portugal colleague by indirect advice not to preform referendum concerning EU Constitutional act due to European interest (Socrates replied that there is no need to teach him basics of democracy - how fucking right - Our government needs another lesson much more urgently. Thanks to Athena goddess of wisdom we have election in autumn 2008. At the same time we got into the dispute with our main international friend (since independence times) Germany over simultaneous translation of informal Ministerial meeting into German language - we settled it but we were shown as incompetent to provide services for EU presidency.
Slovenian government is providing PR researches on freedom of Slovenian press under the doors of journalists hotel rooms, European Federation of Journalists already protested and explained that we felt at fist test of preparedness for leading EU. God save the EU.

Slovenski mediji so gladko spregledali izjavo enega najvplivnejših američanov!!

Včeraj je bila na siolu za nekaj minut na bobnu objavljena novica (potem pa hitro prestavljena v arhiv - v drugih medijih je pa niti nisem zasledil) o tem, da je nekdanji predsednik ameriške centralne banke (1987-2006) in eden najvplivnejših svetovnih ekonomskih akterjev Alan Greenspan (81-letni starec velikega uma) izdal svoje spomine. Nič takega in verjetno je teh spominov za malo morje pri večini ljudi, ki dolgo časa zasedajo pomembne položaje. To kar je najbolj relevantno pa je izjava o tem, kar sicer marsikdo ve ampak o tem ne želi razpravljati - da je dejanski razlog za napad na Irak ameriška potreba po nafti in ne širitev demokracije v svetu - kar je jasno razvidno iz samega pristopa k problematiki, kjer je po 4 letih od invazije Irak še vedno v razsulu, Amerika pa nima posebnega namena, da bi se umaknila z območja prej kot bo to skrajno nujno potrebno.
Baje, da je Greenspan s svojimi spomini precej ujezil ameriško administracijo, še posebno v razmerah ko z vseh strani dežujejo negativna poročila o uspehu v Iraku, gospodarski krizi, socialni ogroženosti večine Američanov in čedalje manjši podpori domače javnosti. In Slovenija bi bila tako rada podobna Ameriki - idioti.

My Blog is worthy - how much?

I found out that at the moment My blog even has some artificial value. You can see it on the right side. 3,387,4$ at this moment - OK is better than nothing but I have problems selling my digital photo camera not even thinking about selling my blog. However I somebody would like to pay for advertisement on this blog I am always open to fair business.

And my pool on what do you miss on my blog is over. Nine people missed something enough to vote. 3 of them want more personal posts, only two thing that my photos are good enough to be good idea to post more of them and finally 5 people think that I should write more about political science.

I will try to post something more personal things - maybe even some old personal writings and I will try to comment more on actual political situation. And I will try to be sharp and provocative - or at least not too boring ;)

Great joke on renaming Ljubljana Airport

Slovenian main airport called Ljubljana - Brnik was renamed to Jože Pučnik airport (airport in Slovenian is Letališče). It is hart to foreign visitors to say that or even to spell it and Slovenian government decided to rename it just this was due to historical reasons (he was quite important person in the time of Slovenian independence in 1990/91 - some years earlier and later also) but mostly because Jože Pučnik was kind of a founding father of current ruling party. Despite he is dead for some years now it was stupid to name the airport after him. Slovenian have one of most important world pioneers in development of flying - Edvard Rusian (he has even the name easy to spell), but no one even thought about him. We have many other important persons with much greater historical importance to Slovenia but they just picked out hard-spelling and average name.

OK And here is the video clip of new name problem - it is played but try for yourself to spell "LETALIŠČE JOŽETA PUČNIKA" - Even most of Slovenes are not able to repeat it for 30 seconds with high speed.

Kvaliteta Univerze v Ljubljani

Pred nekaj dnevi sem zasledil prijetno novico o kakovosti Ljubljanske univerze. Tokrat za spremembo le ta ni veznana na lokalne izjave o tem, koliko je institucija vredna in koliko ni ampak je zadeva bolj objektivna. Šahngajska lestvica 500 najboljših univerz na svetu predstavlja trenutno enega najbolj čislanih kriterijev kakovosti univerzitetnega izobraževanja. Metodologijo ocenjevanja lahko tisti, ki jih zanima preberejo tukaj. Za vse ostale pa povzetek, da ge za preračun kakovosti na podlagi kriterijev, kot sonobelovi nagrajenci, ki izhajajo iz institucije, objave raziskovalnih rezultatov v najprestižnejših svetovnih znanstvenih revijah, velikost institucije in podobno.

V splošnem je Univerza v Ljubljani zasedla 402-508 mesto, kar je prijetno presenečenje, ker je to njena prva uvrstitev na lestvico 500 najboljših univerz na svetu.

Vendar pa se po nekaterih kriterijih kot je prisotnost nobelovih nagrajence - podobno kot velika večina drugih univerz z lestvice ne moremo primerjati je za nas najpomembnejši kriterij (ki nas je po vsej verjetnosti tudi spravil na to letvico) Število objav v najboljših svetovnih revijah s faktorjem vpliva in indexiranih v bazah člankov Science Citation Index in Social Science Citation Index. Slovenija je v tej kategoriji dosegla 32,3 točke. V kolikor lestvico (excel tabela je na voljo tukaj) uredimo po tem kriteriju pa ugotovimo, da Univerza v Ljubljani zaseda 286. mesto in v tej kategoriji prehiteva tudi ugledne univerze, ki so celo v prvi stotinji najboljših (Rice University - 87 mesto; Ecole Normale Super Paris - 83.mesto; Rockefeller University - 30. mesto) . Saj ne vem če je veliko prineslo ampak sem pa vseeno ponosen, da sem v to kvoto tudi sam prispeval dva članka.

Seveda bodo zlobni jeziki rekli da je aktualna oblast podkupila oblikovalce te lestvice za uvrstitev na seznam - vendar je to malo verjetno, glede na dejstvo, da trenutna oblast namesto spodbujanja razvoja javnega šolstva na veliko podpira (tudi finančno) razvoj zasebnega šolstva, kar je popolni javnofinančni absurd. Ta uvrstitev je tudi sočasno dokaz, da Ljubljanska univerza ni nekakovosten mastodont ampak ena izmed 500 najuspešnejših, v posameznih kategorijah pa se lahko kosa celo s prvimi stotimi ter sočasno prehiteva tudi druge Univerze, ki nosijo bistveno uglednejše ime.

God save us from the US government

Today I got another great US paranoic case. And I check it at local news (even more terrifying numbers). Redirecting people to the other Airports and keeping them in airplanes for such a long time is just another product of American anti terrorist quasi-activities that are violating most basic human rights of respecting human dignity. Not even mention economic loses of airliners and also the airport. And it is just another reason for me to keep out of USA for as long as such restrictions will be applied - if I ever go there I promise it will be from Canada and than by car on the other side. American isolation from the rest of the world with its polices will cause huge problems.

At the moment we are in the second part of the cold war after short meltdown of international relations between Moscow and Washington. Last Russian military actions and scientific achievements are clear message to the Washington that in the case of further imperialist ideas they will not tolerate to be out powered.

Biggest problem in this story is weak position of EU that can not become tampon-zone divided between east and west. In this sense American missile shield defense in east Europe is direct potential for causing third world war that will be certainly catastrophic and its main front-row will be again in Europe. However, our main advantage is weak US economy, that cannot be simply fixed with additional oil supply but it needs much more serious reforms (Thank God for China). Despite imperialist international relations and protectionist economic policy in the US, they are not able to fix their problem of export deficit, especially with China that makes US depending on cheap China products. At the moment China is economically strong enough and fast growing to become economic world superpower.

European union is also preparing possible back-strike to American immigration policy on the airports, that will (if accepted) limit uncontrolled free entrance (similar to American visa waiver) of foreign citizens into EU. So here we go to more free world.

Drinking and Driving

Glede na dejstvo, da sem zasvojen s svojim nekajmesečnim kanadskim domovanjem v Winnipegu, kjer sem v preteklih letih preživel kar nekaj prijetnih in delovnih trenutkov, si pogosto privoščim tudi moj tamkajšnji radio 99,9 BOB FM. Danes sem slišal najboljšo reklamo na svetu, ki jo ulita Slovenija ne bo sposobna naslednjih 50 let. Lepa novica da je življenje polno različnih možnosti na katero nekdo pribije da alkohol (pitje) in vožnja (pod vplivom alkohola) ni ena izmed teh lepih možnosti. Nekaj povsem znanega. Presenetilo je nekaj drugega - v Kanadi je ob reklami v veliko primerih naveden tudi naročnik reklame - no naročnik je bilo Združenje pivovarjev Kanade. Kdaj bosta Union in Laško opozarjala, da alkohol in volan nista za skupaj????? Namesto, da oglašujejo nalivanje za prijatelje ki ga ustvarjajo že od 1875 ali kako že. In potem se čudimo pri koliko prometnih nesrečah je vključen alkohol. Proizvajalci alkohola bi v Sloveniji morali plačevati poseben davek, glede na to koliko stroškov povzročijo alkoholizirani ljudje.

Vsem, i so zakrivili nesrečo v alkoholiziranem stanju bi morali kazensko vtetovirati flašo na roko (pretiravam ampak me jezi).

Nightlife in my room

Here we go again - another sleepless night. It is so f...ing hot that it is not possible to do anything useful. Finally I get me anti-mosquito net for the window so I can have open window and light turned on without risking all night of killing instead do sleeping or working. Today it is working one. I am preparing abut 200 pages translation into English on e-government. It is nothing of a job, just hope to have some luck and publish it somewhere. Otherwise it is completely stupid of me to bother myself with this shit.

Oh by the way, I will be glad if you participate in my pools that I added last day. And I will be glad of any comment - as usual. And By the way, Slovenia is best country in Europe introducing Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. We are using firefox in 48% of cases.

Summer relaxation week

Yessss, I finally got it - my week of relaxation at the Croatian (Istrian) coast. Like last year I spent my week off at nice, cosy and warm hotel of Del Mare.
They have small pool that is just great to stretch your legs in the afternoon and they have great personnel taking care that you feel much better than at home and that you have great meal in the afternoon. And price is - just ask them but it seems not much to me according to the luxury I get. You need to take short walk to the beach or just ask in hotel and they will tel you fore some beautiful spots nearby.
Everything is near Fazana and Pula. It means you can find some ancient Roman historical monuments like Amphitheater in Pula or you can go to visit Brioni islands from Fazana seaport, where TITO had one of his palaces with private ZOO and so on.

Oh yes - weather - it was better than expected and here are some pictures to prove that it was great time.

Security of US

I am just most happy to hear such news as one that some hecker get into the pentagon computer system and that they also break into Office for National Security - Isn't it Ironic. It is best joke ever heard (each time I hear it). In fact it is truth and it is awful truth. And it is awful for two reasons. First is the potential of leaking classified information that can harm some state. But it is only minor point.
Second point of awfulness is that most quasi-protected state can be target of computer or any other kind of terror. Successful attacks on the Internet of most protected parts of US state structure are showing that system is in fact very weak and it is building state security mostly on the basis of denying basic rights to the people.

Just remember Katrina orcane where US system of aid and reconstruction failed completely as well as security system (on you tube you can find video clips of cops stealing in stores together with other people). It shows real values of average American citizen. Too much and strict control of citizens behaviour does not help US to maintain security of the state but it mostly violate basic human rights and leads to the great Big Brother show where you are in even if you don't want to be. Security in the US will be regained with less imperialistic foreign policy and with much higher level of social welfare provided by the government. In fact it seems to be classical economic dilemma between cannons and butter. And it seems that sometimes more butter can bring higher level of security than more cannons.

Decisionmaking in EU - changing balance of power

In these days we are facing again lively debate on how voting in European Union institutions should be organized. Basic situation is that great member states of EU from old EU15 are defending current model of decision making (voting), while Poland knows that number of votes is not comparable to the population number of different countries, especially Poland. According to this they are trying to change relations between number of votes belonging to individual member states.
But they are underestimating power of Slovenian membership in the EU. Let's take quick historical argument. Slovenia or better, different political systems including Slovenian population were included in different more or less forced federative systems of more different nationsthroughout history.
If we start with ancient times, Slovenian geographic area was part of Roman Empire - it crushed. Than Slovenian geographic area was relatively comparable covered by so called Carantania in 8th century AD. We (our progenitors) were conquered so this "first Slovenian state crushed", than We were part of Hapsburg monarchy - it crushed. Than we had State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs - it crushed in less than a year. Than we got Monarchy of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and it crashed again. After this attempt smart monarch tried with Monarchy of Yugoslavia - It crushed. After third war we got Federative Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia. It crushed again. Then we had about 14 years of complete independence - Have no idea how we managed not to kill ourselves by some civic war (it is possible idea according to the fact that we are still accusing each other of being a communist or being a fascist collaborator). But we grew stronger in this 14-year period (at least economically). And in 2004 we entered the EU. What happen with each political system where Slovenia and Slovenes are included - history teach us that such system will collapse sooner or later. And in this sense I really don't understand quarrel about number of votes in European institutions started by Polish government. EU will collapse anyway - Because Slovenia is in. It seems that we are like Trojan horse.

And you know what people also say - in every joke there is a small part of truth.

CEPSA conference 2007

As every year we organised Slovenian political science association conference. This event was in 2007 co-organised with Central European Political Science Association Conference and I was really glead to see so many friends from abroad who are able so shake your hand warmly, despite you are young and inexperienced and who are able to ask you about how you are and not only demanding this and that and materials and bunch of information. It was great time also for me who mostly had to work on organization and hereby I am thankful also to Tina for her moral and working support as well as for her company that made whole sitting and waiting time much more berable and funny. I have no idea about general conclusions of the conference but I certanly know that I will be glead to meet these people again and again.
